Fourteen-day trial
The trial begins when it is activated and lasts 14 days. It provides access to the app’s available features without requiring a payment card. One trial is available per eligible Mac; reinstalling the app does not reset it.
Version 1.x license
A one-time license grants one person a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Speakintosh 1.x on up to two of their Macs. It is not a subscription. A license is issued after the payment provider confirms payment and is delivered to the email supplied at checkout.
- The license covers compatible 1.x updates.
- A future major version may be a separate purchase.
- The license may be deactivated or revoked after a refund, chargeback, fraud or material breach of these terms.
Consent and responsible voice use
You may create or use a voice only when it is your own, is lawfully licensed, or the person concerned has given you clear permission. You are responsible for the recordings, text and output you use.
- Do not impersonate, defraud, deceive, harass or harm anyone.
- Do not create unlawful, infringing or non-consensual content.
- Make appropriate disclosure when a synthetic voice could reasonably mislead an audience.
Your content
You retain the rights you already hold in your text, recordings and generated files. Speakintosh does not claim ownership of them. The app license does not grant rights to a person’s identity, voice, recording or third-party material.
Operation and updates
Core generation is local after the required model is installed. The app still connects periodically for license validation and update checks. Compatibility, speed and output quality depend on the Mac, source recording, text, language and model; no exact imitation or flawless output is guaranteed.
Payments and statutory rights
Prices and taxes are shown at checkout. Refund and withdrawal rights depend on applicable consumer law and any valid consent to immediate delivery of digital content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us if a purchase or license delivery fails.
Support and changes
